Reading this book came with pre made expectations from reviews I had already seen – which in my opinion is the worst way to start. What it meant in this case though was I was constantly being hard on myself that I hadn’t figured out “whodunnit” as I was reading along. I was so focused on the 4 main characters that I missed the bigger picture. 

Having said that, I did enjoy the storyline and easily related to the main characters and their high school experiences. I liked how it was written from the perspective of each main character and found myself constantly saying “they seem so genuine, it can’t be them”. 

Overall it was a clever murder mystery that I didn’t see coming and I really loved the ending. 

I am looking forward to returning to Bayview for the sequel and hope to see a little bit more from the four characters that made us love this storyline.
